Used these 3/32 E308L-16 rods on some thinner stainless pieces and detail work, and they handled really well. Heat is easier to manage with this size, so it’s less likely to warp the material.
Arc is soft and controllable, and it’s easier to keep a tight bead where needed. Especially helpful when working on smaller joints or doing touch-up work.
Slag doesn’t stick much and comes off without a fight. Overall a good option when you need more control rather than speed.

Switched to 3/32 for better control on thinner jobs and these have been working well. Easier to manage than 1/8 when precision matters.
Consistent results every time. I’ll keep using these.
