Ran these E7018 rods on some structural welds and they held up well. Arc has a soft, steady feel and doesn’t jump around, which makes it easier to keep control on longer passes.
The puddle is easy to work with and fills nicely, giving a smooth, even bead. Tie in on the sides looks good without having to fight it.
Slag covers evenly and lifts off clean in most spots. Overall, a dependable rod when you need consistent results.

Used a few boxes of these and they’ve been consistent each time. Easy to run and reliable enough for regular use.
I’ll keep using them.

Used these E7018 rods on structural and repair work and they ran solid. Arc stays smooth and stable, and the puddle is easy to control once dialed in.
The bead lays down nicely with good tie in, and slag peels off better than some rods I’ve used before. Welds came out clean and consistent.
What I like is they feel dependable strike, run, and hold a steady arc without fighting you. Good rod for regular work.
